I am a Lecturer in Economics and Social Services at the Wismar University of Applied Sciences - WINGS Professional Studies, Wismar, Germany. I also serve as a Lecturer in Economics at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, School of Management, Deggendorf, Germany and at Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany. My research interests are mainly in the field of Microeconomics, especially Behavioral Economic Theory and its Applications, the Economics of Teams, and Gender Economics. -25/11/2022- Today, my paper "On the robustness of gender differences in economic behavior" (with Helena Fornwagner, Brit Grosskopf, Alexander Lauf, and Vanessa Schöller) got accepted for publication in Scientific Reports. You may access the paper here. -08/08/2022- I am happy to announce that from September 1, I will join Wismar University of Applied Sciences, WINGS Professional Studies, as a full-time Lecturer in Economics. For details, please visit the Homepage of the Chair of Microeconomics. -21/02/2022- In this Spring Term, I teach the block-course "Managerial Economics" as a visiting lecturer at ISM University of Management and Economics in Vilnius, Lithuania. -19/10/2021- Today, I presented my paper "Comparing the Behavior of Teams and Individuals in a Public Goods Game with Ostracism - A Null Result?" online in the Brown Bag Seminar of ISM University of Management and Economics, Vilnius, Lithuania. -08/10/2021- In the now-beginning winter term 2021/22, I teach the courses Industrial Organization" (in English) at University of Regensburg, and "Health Economics" (in German) at Deggendorf Insititute of Technology, School of Management. -07/09/2021- Today, I started to teach the block-course "Behavioral Economics" as a visiting lecturer at ISM University of Management and Economics in Vilnius, Lithuania. -06/05/2021- Today, I presented my paper "Comparing the Behavior of Teams and Individuals in a Public Goods Game with Ostracism - A Null Result?" online in the Masaryk University Economic Seminars' (MUES) Lunch Seminar. -12/04/2021- In the now-beginning summer term 2021, I teach the course "Behavioural Economics" at University of Regensburg. The course is at Bachelor level and in English. Due to the Corona Crisis, the course takes place entirely digitally. -08/04/2021- Today, I am giving a remote lecture at ISM University of Management and Economics, Vilnius, Lithuania, about "An Introduction to Behavioral Industrial Organization". -11/01/2021- As the current winter term resumes, I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year! -18/12/2020- As the year 2020 slowly but surely comes to an end, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a good start into the new year 2021! -16/10/2020- In the current winter term 2020/21, I teach the course "Industrial Organization" at University of Regensburg and Health Economics at Deggendorf Institute of Technology, School of Management. Gender vs. Sex" online at the University of Regensburg Department of Economic's Lunch Seminar. -28/05/2020- Today, my paper "Monitoring 'lemons': Why lower productivity workers are sometimes monitored more closely" (with Marcus Dittrich) got accepted for publication in Applied Economics Letters.
